Guitar, Bass, and Music Theory Lessons for all Ages and Abilities

Hello! My name is Owen and I'm a professional musician based in South West London and Surrey offering private lessons in acoustic and electric guitar, bass, and music theory.

Whether you're someone who's picking up a guitar for the very first time or a more experienced player, my main priority is to help students of all levels and ages really enjoy playing music. My teaching approach not only focuses on technical and theoretical practises such as improvisation, but also on other fun and valuable skills such as learning songs and jamming.

I also teach music theory at all levels. I know that it can often seem a difficult subject to grasp but my aim is to always make whatever I'm teaching musically applicable and above all, fun!

I studied guitar at London Centre of Contemporary Music where I received a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Performance and Production. Artists who I love listening to and have had great influence over me include the Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, David Bowie, Led Zeppelin, The Band, Steely Dan, Funkadelic, Parliament, Vulfpeck, Joni Mitchell, Crosby Stills Nash and Young, etc.

I have experience and love playing styles such as:
-Funk
-Rock
-Blues
-Jazz
-Pop (old and new)

I live in Streatham but I'm happy to travel to you if that's what you would prefer. Feel free to contact me for more details and I hope to hear from you soon!
